Dear all:

We are happy to announce the release of a free and powerful extension module for the popular xt:Commerce (formerly: Veyton) Web shop package that

1. will create Google Rich Snippets and
2. will send rich relevance signals to search engines

by adding GoodRelations markup in RDFa syntax to the product item page templates.

The module is available here:

    http://code.google.com/p/semantic-seo-for-xt-commerce/

It should take only about 15 minutes to get this up and running, so this is by far the simplest way of adding GoodRelations support to a shop running on xt:Commerce.

With ca. 100,000 installations, xt:Commerce is one of the most popular shop applications world-wide.

Kudos to Kevin Siegerth for implementing this!

Please spread the word to site-owners running xt:Commerce/Veyton!

Best wishes

Martin Hepp
